I hate to be that guy, but I find a lot of the “oh this is so tragic”, “this is the worst day in South Florida history” (yes there are people are saying that) BS grating. While he was probably a nice guy, and was clearly good at throwing a ball, something like 1000 children under 5 die from malaria every day.

I doubt it as I have heard he blows through his money like an idiot. So he will likely keep milking whatever he can, especially since he can’t do endorsements.

Even sections can only get up during the Q1, halftime, and Q4, odd during pre game, Q2 and Q3. There I just solved the problem.

Han you are normally way over the edge, but you are right that this guy is a human shit stain. Oh how I hated his twisted statements.

I wonder this all the time, but people are really surprisingly tribal. I am always shocked by how many lawyers and doctors I know who are ~45-55 have their personal identities/emotional well beings tied up with sports teams. That isn’t even getting into the 15-25 year olds, where it is practically an epidemic.

Vaunted offensive front? The Vikings o line has been hot garbage for a couple years and that was the expectations and has been the performance this year?

Lets home your mortgage balance has gone down some in 5 years...

This isn’t really true outside of NY/DC/SF. Most other places housing is relatively affordable. Not cheap, but not impossible either if you know, you have a job and a partner/roommate.

Ketamine.

I took him to a Browns off-season, I don’t why but it had to start somewhere.

We are programmed to have a lot more fighting for our life than we do, and a part of us kind of misses it.

Travel? Is this an insane person? Former travel agent?

Go under the water underneath bridge and use the shaft of a club to make a snorkel.

When you are that famous you have the esteem required to do really stupid things with your look. Exhibit A: Tom Brady.

I am interested in the IDEA that Nike pays the NFL for the jersey rights, the NFL gets some kickback, and then the NFL gives that kickback to charity. I am wondering what the proportion is between the main deal and the kickback?

I have actually come full circle on replay for things like this and think the vast majority of calls should just be as they stand on the field.

Philosophy degrees are actually one of the most valuable undergraduate degrees that aren’t STEM. Which probably has more to do with the group of students taking it, but still.

Because all things considered by far the best solution is to just treat the refs as another obstacle and have their decisions be binding even if there is the occasional mistake. Just think of them as a force of nature. It makes it all so much better and solves so many problems.

This is right. This is actually a problem in the rulebook. The ref was fine.

“Fans” a re so dumb in this regard. Last year it was clear they were garbage, and they happened to play ok and did pretty well. So everyone built up much bigger expectations for this year, despite the fat they were still clearly pretty bad.
