Nah, it's just that the consoles have been out for a while. Games made in the last year or two of a console's heyday always graphically blow the launch games out of the water because the developers have had enough time to know how to properly use all of the console's power.
What about something like the Del Sol: a targa top with a retractable rear window or maybe using a T-top with a wide central pillar to help block out more of the sun.
