It's not that bad; I crossed that bridge many times back when I went to college on the eastern shore, often times in an SUV completely filled with my stuff. Just stay in your land and pay attention and you'll be alright.

More bacon for me then.

Of course it was Florida. Who else would it be?

I like the car, but not the price. Drop it by a few grand, and you got an NP.

I know bikes can stop faster than cars. That's why I said the biker obviously wasn't paying attention, since anyone in a car with half a brain could have reacted to the situation better than he did. I was just giving a possible explanation for why the Camaro was moving so slowly on a clear road. Reading comprehension

I haven't seen any Escort in months, however I have seen a few 90s Tauruses. I have no idea what's keeping them on the road though.

That's an awesome car to have a love affair with. Congrats.

As boring as they are, I will concur. Those are about the only mid 90s cars you can find in great numbers.

My car is already 7 years old; I got it a year ago with 96k miles on it and it's still going strong nearly 40k later. I plan to keep it running as long as it can and since it's of the last model year of the simpler, more reliable generation, I have a feeling I will have it running for a long time.

The Clubvan fell victim to the Chicken Tax. Mini should have done what Ford did with their cargo vans manufactured overseas: manufacture them as passenger vans complete with windows and seats, ship them Stateside, then rip out the seats and replace the windows with panels. Considering how well the Transit Connect is

If this took place near a small town, the speed limit could be a lot lower. Many small towns have abruptly lower speed limits to catch out of towners as a source of revenue. The Camaro could have been following the limit while the biker obviously wasn't. Either way, the biker definitely wasn't paying enough attention

I'm sorry, but this is entirely the rider's fault. He had more than enough time to hit the brakes or set up for a legal pass on the left or and illegal (but still possible) pass on the right shoulder. Hell, I think I could have avoided a crash at that speed in my car, and I don't have any superhuman reflexes. Dude

Someone near me did that with a last-gen Charger. The base color is the stock orange with a slight shift to a maroon type color. It's pretty subtle and easily the most tasteful pearlescent paint jobs I've seen.

That's so meta...

I think this beats the other abomination of an Expedition posted somewhere on here.

I think something got lost in translation. Like taste and common sense.

They're smaller, stiffer, and a little faster as a result. Plus, they were targeted towards those people who thought the rear seats were mainly vestigial and who immediately took them out once they got the car.

I'll save you the trouble: It's a little slower and floatier than the 2nd gen hatch, but it's still pretty much the most fun you can have in a small CUV/SUV (on the road, of ourse)

And strangely, I'd rather have the Forte over the Civic.

This one still gets me sometimes...
