We always seem to present things as “innocent until proven guilty” vs “believe the victim”, but that’s really a false dichotomy. I have no problem with our judicial system setting a high bar for conviction, even in cases of rape/sexual assault. What I have issue with is that so few reports are even taken seriously…

And I’m just adding my thoughts on the subject to the conversation, not criticizing the piece or the author. I didn’t say anything about either, just added my two cents.

I am pro choice all day long and I agree. On what planet is this ok? I don’t care if she was embarrassed or scared. She birthed a human and has a responsibility to at least get it to SOMEONE who can do something. Horrifically killing a NEWBORN is the solution when you don’t want your kid? Fuck that. No.
