Read an article that he was cruel as hell to his own people not just his enemies. He slaughtered women and children to keep his political power and dominion. As to how much of that is historical truth, I haven't done any serious research.

Which is pretty ridiculous, when you compare the societies of the time the Turks were the more cosmopolitan and meritocratic. I wouldn't call him a man of his time either; some evils are just evil, even back then.

I may be too old, or perhaps too ethnocentric, but I don't get the appeal.

Oh look, these folks are back on kickstarter, with another game. Already dropping PA and moving onto whatever else. This will be the 3rd time Uber has done this. Why do people keep giving them money?

It doesn't even seem like they're trying; they're just reusing old assets (re: Rogue), slapping a new name and rough "story" over it. And gamers continue to throw money at them...

And this is why I stopped playing the fucking franchise. They took something great, that should have just ended as a trilogy, and turned it into a steaming pile of shit that is greedily eaten up the same way CoD is.
