1) It is there problem if a contractor has sub-par practices
1) It is there problem if a contractor has sub-par practices
Not exactly. According to the law, the employer of a contractor is still responsible for safety. In other words, you don't hire a contractor and then just look the other way. From a liability standpoint, it protects you when something goes wrong. However, you cannot hire contractors and then willfully ignore…
If OSHA requirements are followed, fall hazards are minimal. The requirements for safety harnesses, fall arrestors, and other safety devices make these types of accidents much rarer than they were in the past.
Lubbock, TX is the worst town in the world!!!
Agree...
I think it is an FAA rule that you follow cabin crew instructions at all times....though it sounded like he was doing that. Not saying that he was doing anything wrong, but technically you are required by law to do what they say....even if they are lying about why you have to do it.
No mention of Castoreum?
Some of these aren't "cause of death" exactly. i.e. Lincoln and the effect of poking fingers into his brain, Joan of Arc being a bit crazy, etc.
The problem is that you provide something that everyone believes that they are entitled to....
I was just correcting the notion that these were so expensive because they were rare. i.e. that when these guys steal 10,000 cancer pills, the cost of cancer pills goes through the roof and they can sell them back at an inflated price....as might happen with famous paintings
I don't think anyone was suggesting that they were doing this from the goodness of their heart. However, I don't think that they sell them at inflated prices because of their rarity.
This is a very true statement. I do have serious issue with how the article is portraying the information.
Yes, they learn about food safety. I am not debating that fact. I am debating on if a chef can contribute to the knowledge about food safety. The original comment was that "the CDC, FDA, all trained chefs" are contributing to food safety standards while the author of the article was writing from a position of…
1) How does a chef know anything about food-borne illness? I am not a trained chef(IANATC), but I imagine they spend a lot of time learning how to prepare food....not studying micro-organisms or working in a hospital.
I thought the question was "how do you hijack a helicopter"?
Who the hell worries about the plane crashing? These are the same people who buy tornado shelters and worry about becoming trapped inside. The odds are so low that it isn't even worth considering.
Perhaps this would help. Think of it as a sales exchange. The interviewee is the salesman and the interviewer is the customer. The first question a salesman will ask is "What are you looking for?". He isn't asking this so that he can lie(though some might). He is asking because it will make everything else go…
They do. It is just that you don't hear about it. Most people are far more fascinated about the 'family tree' of humans than the evolutionary journey of the monarch butterfly.
So, what is the modern definition? Someone who saved lives or "something like that"?
Well, considering it is the Olympics....we need to remember what a "hero" is...
