We got a rescue dog trained by prisoners and she NEVER gets on the furniture. We could never have managed that. The prison-raised issues seem to be 1) a wariness of doors, she HAS to be first through, doors close fast in prison and 2) suspicion of floor clutter, there are no LEGO in prison.
