True, but population growth has changed a lot of towns along the Black Horse Pike. Back in the day, that was a town where everybody knew each other. There wasn’t even a supermarket - let alone a Wawa.  Now, it’s all big box stores and a huge passthrough for folks on the way to Philly or the shore.

By the time he has grandchildren, I wonder if some old school details will be added to the story. The version I got was that it was uphill (both ways), and in the snow... ; )

I get that we’re supposed to be allowed access everywhere...but why would you want to eat or be entertained someplace you’re not wanted?
