Women are like kittens, they just wanna be taken care of. You gotta let them know you're willing to be their man-mama.

Did you see The World's Fastest Indian, about Burt Munro? It's a story not unlike Caswell's, and they did a good job of avoiding schmaltzy sentiment.

@BigHarv: GM's been doing right by manual-lovers with the CTS and Camaro lines thus far, even if they sell more autos. Just think of the backlash if they put their new 3 series fighter on the market without a manual.

@Scandinavian Flick doesn't need snow to oppo: Last I heard, the next-gen CTS is gonna be built on a long wheelbase variant of the Alpha platform. I think the idea is to make the CTS plusher without jacking the weight up and sacrificing performance.

@Weather and darkness will not be an issue: Yeah, with the R8 TDI. The prototypes kept bursting into flames. I think it stemmed from the transmission overheating due to the engine's monster torque output.

@CJinSD: Russia is considered a transcontinental country, part of both Europe and Asia. Only 1/4 of Russia, from the western border to the Ural Mountains, is in Europe. It's why the Prius gets better mileage, but car magazines almost always prefer the

@geolemon: Until there are as many charging stations as there are gas stations, and engineers can build light-weight batteries with gas tank-rivaling capacity, there will always be penalties for electric cars.

@geolemon: People always use the "I don't even drive 250 miles in a week, so that's more than enough range for me" rationale to defend the Roadster, but I just don't buy it. Green or not, the Roadster is sports car, and is therefor meant to be driven hard. That means unless you live next door to a track or some

NOXOST? More like NORNGE.

@BigHarv: The best one I've seen in my neighborhood is a New Beetle with a plate reading "OHMYBUG." If you know what "bug" is northern New England slang for, you'd be amazed the car's owner got away with it.

I found some exclusive video of the gathering, wherein the club enjoys their favorite non-driving activity.

@luisthebeast: Seconded. This one belongs to a friend of mine, snapped a picture of it on the street the other night.

Can't believe nobody's posted this yet.
