I almost feel bad for the Joffrey actor. I'm assuming that he and the kid who plays Draco Malfoy get spat upon in the street while, like, shopping for shoes and whatnot.

I wonder if that's because so many people knew about it that it wasn't as juicy a plot twist to bother leaking? But I agree; it wasn't even hinted at in media chatter.

Yes, please!

I'm looking forward to somebody else crying because Jason Momoa cannot.

I felt the same way about Shaun, but I read the sequel. I recommend you do, too. I found Shaun irksome, but there's enough action and conspiracies to keep you interested, particularly during the rising action toward the end.

I really liked Feed and its sequel. However, you are correct: Grant used the phrase "poke a zombie with a stick" way, way too much. In the sequel, she describes a character's feelings about drinking a Coke over and over and over. I wish an editor had tightened up elements like that.

Yep, it was the whole pot in the book. And I like your idea of shock doing him in. I mean, I don't LIKE it. But I think it makes good sense.

My dream is that someday, I'll say "It is known" to one of my acquaintances, and s/he'll respond with, "It is known." It could happen, right?

It is known.

"Daenerys put one of them in the fire and it did not burn her. (Although her sister wasn't so lucky.)"

I loathe him so much from the books that no matter what he does in the show, I'll never feel bad for him. He could rescue a litter of puppies from a fire, and I'd still sneer when he comes on screen. But the old gods and the new know that he'd never do that.

Oh, a million times yes!

Aaaah! Me too! It was supposed to be out this month, but apparently he wanted to "finish up" and "give his readers quality work" and blah blah blah.

Are you talking about Eccleston? If so, and if you want dark, check out "28 Days Later."

Ah, interesting! I like how you think ...

I considered that! It's also the reason I someday hope to show the "X-Files " episode "Bad Blood" in class.

That's my memory of it.

That spoiler was missing the one word I was most hoping for: Michonne.

Journalism. I'm really struggling with that potential lesson plan ...

I should make it required reading!
