I have never been sucked into TV Tropes. I've read it, clicked a few things, and soon browsed elsewhere. Am I doing it wrong? I must be; I always see it listed as this black hole of time.
@Lin-Z [linguist on duty]: Ha! I read all four in one sitting, and I've been wondering what I'll do when the new one comes out. Re-read? Dive in and try to remember? There's so much out there I want to read that I haven't, so I'm not much of a re-reader. GRRM might be the exception, though.
@Jonas72: This is precisely what happened to me. I really, really tried. I made it past the chewing stage, but I couldn't force myself to swallow. Damn gag reflex.
@Teresa Harris: Those jorts are ... wow. They will haunt me. (Colossus', not Tobias'. Tobias' are natural and beautiful.)
@Josh Young: I feel like an airport would be prime breeding ground for all kind of exotic nasties. Lucky you!
@Josh Young: ... because you're a government snatcher, or you're a fellow survivor/guinea pig? I hope it's the latter.
You know, I got swine flu in 2009, and I've been shockingly healthy since then. I assume a government crew will be knocking on my front door shortly to take me to a camp for antibody harvesting.
@Smeagol92055: Well, I'm thinking about it now. Yeesh.
@MajorMattMason: That sounds Ted Nugent-tastic!
@Graviton1066: Hmmm. I'll take the arctic fox piss in a waffle cone.
@Graviton1066: Could you mix some toffee bits into it?
David Tennant and bears? Throw in some ice cream, and you've got the "things I love" trifecta.
@squall987: Heh. That's what makes them so much fun.
@TheLostVikings: You and me both! My reading horizons have greatly expanded thanks to this site.
@The Curse of Millhaven: Yes, I do! That's a great suggestion. That's how we watched Party Down; the new episodes were available almost immediately, if I recall. I hope they have the same deal for Torchwood.
Looks like we're going to have to add Starz to our cable package. We already have HBO for True Blood and Game of Thrones and Showtime for Dexter. What's one more?
@Ghost in the Machine: @Puns-n-Roses: I've never seen that before. I ... I think I have something in my eye.
I'm so glad mental health practices have changed since the 60s. I mean, no way am I hot enough to have been admitted to an asylum back then.
@psychiccheese: We're identically comical! Hooray for echoing poop jokes!
