Meanwhile, on my 2008 Civic, the latch has broken on the center armrest cubby. Because it is spring-loaded, it pops open all the time, unless I slide the “armrest” portion as far forward as it goes.
I tried to take the console out to clean it and/or remove the spring, which somehow resulted in a great shifter now…
I kinda want one but it’s also so slow.
