Just as many of us don't want those things in our RPGs. I've got nothing against the Elder Scrolls games but I just don't like playing them. That lack of direction that some people like leaves me feeling like the game is unfocused and I have no motivation to do anything.

Wow, you got a ton of hate for this article. Personally I agree with everything you said. I loved Dragon's Dogma and both the DA games. I didn't hate the Elder Scrolls games but they do feel terribly unfocused and I get bored playing them pretty quickly.

I didn't think this was much of an issue in Asian countries, where we really need to get our shit sorted is here in the US. As far as I know they've only issued two athletic visas. It would go a long way to really improving the scene here if we could get this handled.
