I think most of the reason is that WB Montreal didn't put as much thought and effort into their game as Rocksteady did. Honestly, Origins isn't nearly as well written or designed as the first two. It shouldn't have carried the name 'Arkham' and it shouldn't be considered a part of the Arkham story arc.

I know right! It's just like the Uncharted series! Drake's this...Drake's that. Why the hell do they have to mention Drake in every game? It's not like he's a central character or theme in the series! Just like Arkham...right? Not central to this series at all...right?
