You should check out Dayz Epoch. It's a mod for the mod (and they're working on a mod for the standalone) that adds in base building and traders. It's the most populated Dayz mod out there.

I honestly don't know anybody that really thinks that. Most of us know what we want before it launches and when we wee it with that 40$ price tag we're just happy about it, not worried that it's gonna be bad.

The fact that people believe there is a static 'going rate for game' is the problem. Not all games are worth the 60$ price tag. Based on the sales of this game, I'm gonna guess that it wasn't worth 60$ for a lot of people.
