I 100% agree that Twitter isn't the place for this kind of conversation. Honestly, part of why I don't want a Twitter account is that people only seem to be able to say something stupid and get themselves in trouble for it. Not worth it.

It's not as good as Ubisoft told us it would be, but it's not nearly as bad as some people are making it out to be. It's a perfectly adequate game.

They charge more because they can, that's what makes monopolies so corrupting. Why improve your service when your customers have nowhere to go? And since they have nowhere to go and cannot function without your product, why not give them half of what they currently get for double, no, triple the price? And since we

There's no restriction on it. Heck, before they were obviously the ones locking down Netflix (in December there was a day I spent ten to fifteen minutes loading an episode of West Wing, only to have awful quality for the duration of the stream) you'd call them and ask what's going on. They'd reset your network

That is fucking sinister on the part of the ISPs. How is this not tampering of some sort and how has no major media outlet picked up on this angle?

Yeah, this might be the last chance. Until they come here. I'd like to stop this bullshit before it crosses the ocean.

Then perhaps a better metaphor is organized crime. Sure they have a "legitimate" business, but suddenly the truckers are having problems with delivery not to mention the internet black holes where data transfers simply disappear (e.g. undelivered e-mail or SMS). Cable Companies may have their turf, but that doesn't

I'm not really either, but this whole affair has made "conspiracy theories" much more difficult to define.

When I try to access their comments section (I received other more "normal" error messages, but this is one I've never seen before, or at least can't remember seeing in recent memory).

They have the money. Now they want the Power. Its all in the plan.

There is no need. They're purely in it for money and the only question they're asking themselves is "can we get away with it?"

Honestly, the lack of mainstream exposure and detail on this issue somewhat bemuses, and honestly frightens me. You see it all over online, and I've certainly gone out of my way to ask others to help out (I've commented and emailed my representative as well), but it's nearly a no show on TV, and even the level of

welcome to the USSA a place where democracy is a lie and capitalist scum screws the little guy in the pee hole with a cork screw

Exactly if I download 1mb or 50GB it makes zero difference to the provider as the infrastructure is already there.

Is this the time and place to make a "Fuck yeah, Europe!" comment?

They want a piece of Netflix's pie for being a viable alternative to cable television is my guess. I canceled my cable television because it was like $70/mo and I wasn't using it (it was almost always vapid reality TV crap). Now I pay Netflix like $9 and use it all the time.

I think you don't really get net neutrality then, no offense. The point is, they should be held responsible for providing you with equal access to any content you want to consume, regardless of what that is. Be it your emails, youtube, games or whatever else you frequent.

Watched this episode last night, it was brilliant. Really brought home how fucked up this system is here in the States. Hopefully this public gauging will give them a clue as to what the people want/expect from them.
