"I'm Strom Thurmond, and I approve this message"
"I'm Strom Thurmond, and I approve this message"
So because he is a feminist we should let him off the hook for a shitty article? No way! He should be called out for this ESPECIALLY because of his track record.
Can we PLEASE just have this one thing?
I really want to know this asshole's opinion on the lack of women in the following shows:
- Escape from Alcatraz
- Shawshank Redemption
- The Green Mile
- Oz
- The Rock
I wonder what the population of women in women-only prisons is? I bet it's higher.
A sour truth in these glazed times.
What I loved about this is that the little girl obeyed immediately at the end when the mother told her to put the pieces in the trash and the hat in the laundry. Clearly the mother's methods work, because even after all the story, the little girl knew who was boss.
Uncles and aunts and grandparents are allowed to be horribly lenient. Parents are not. It is one of the things that makes other people's kids so much fun.
As an Uncle 11 times over and a Great Uncle three times I would have been horribly lenient in that situation
I almost applauded at the "that's ok, you don't have to love mommy, but you do have to be obedient". Perfect. She has to do what she's told because she is 3, but being 3 doesn't mean you shouldn't get to have your own damn feelings about it
I'll be honest. There's a part of me that smiles whenever my kid blatantly lies about something. Yes, I explain why it's wrong to lie and the difference between lying and the truth. But it gives my heart a bit of joy to see that devious little shit's wheel's spinning to try to get himself out of a jam.
You can't spell "Miles" without "lies."
Yes - she is right at the age where most children begin to lie. It's very common and does not come from a place of deception, because she is still learning the implications of it. It is a step in their development to learn how to conceive of an alternate reality and the details that would make that reality feasible. 3…
My little sister had an imaginary robot that looked exactly like her. It lived in her closet, and it stole my barbies and teased the dog a lot.
"Sarah, did you take my ken doll?"
"No, it was my robot."
And the fact that you can't see how precious this very normal thing is ... that's what makes you cynical. YOU are the one that has been hardened to the world. YOU are the one assuming that this mother put up this very normal video expecting to make millions, rather than just wanting to (most likely) amuse herself…
Mom: 'I can still see the donut.' Tiffany: 'Can you see it now?' Hehehehe I have an imaginative little 'Tiffany' of my own. No scapegoat Miles, tho...so sometimes Swiper, Elsa, or The Wicked Witch took the donut.
Seriously? Over one little video? You're that cynical person in the room everyone avoids.
They say kids learning to lie at this age is a necessary step in cognitive development. It signals higher thought processes and their intent is not really to deceive but to tell a story how they see it in their heads.
oh why did you go down that depressing ass rabbit hole!
