My launch day Xbox still works fine, even after having gone to Kyrgyzstan, where dust, deserts and heatwaves are the norm in the Summer. But yeah, it does sound like a vacuum cleaner. =P

I wish I had some what to upvote your comment. Voice of reason.
I legitimately like Windows 8. I'm sorry, but not everybody hates and loathes the OS. I don't really use Metro on my desktop or laptop, but don't mind it either.
I liked Sam and max, but it was poorly put together. Really bad animation, 3D models and more. I get they were trying to create a series that worked on multitude of systems, but I think they brought the series down by keeping the requirements so damn low.
A valid story arc, actually. Good show, sir.
I agree to that, but I don't even know what you'd do after Serenity. The crew just went through so much that I don't know what they'd do. They answered River's mystery and the origin of the Reavers, the two big arcs through the show. Not sure what's left.
Yeah, I understand that... but it just seems so inconsistent at times.
I like Firefly, but... its time has passed. The only thing I could think of would be to create another show in the universe, and tie it in as cannon. Perhaps bring other characters in over time. It's just far too late to bring back what was. With Wash dead, and the River's metamorphosis, the show's chemistry would…
It's horribly bad.
I've been pondering that for a while. For every good post about Far Cry 3 on Kotaku there is... there's one bashing it, or saying why it's bad, or awful. And then they go back to praising the every loving shit out of it, saying it's downright GOTY material and one of the best games of 2012.
I like Firefly, but "bring back Firefly" has become almost a meme at this point as much it is a legitimate drive to bring the show back (which, after Serenity, wouldn't be the same). Sometimes I think the Firefly fans need to just enjoy what they had. Given how much time has passed...
Polar Express could be renamed "Uncanny Valley: the Motion Picture". The special effects were almost too unnerving, to the point I felt disturbed the entire movie.
This is a problem that just seems to get worse and worse. It used to be a good site for tech news and gadgets, but it's just progressively become "Here's this X, here's unrelated opinion Y, but we're saying Y even though we know it's not accurate."
I thought the ME3 multiplayer was amazing! Yeah, okay, the for-sale booster packs were cheesy, but you didn't need them. At all. They really only ruined things if you're not able to say "no" to DLC.
I'd love a narrative and story that makes a bit more sense, and just a few more nudges/directions for the right places to go (while still allowing you to go anywhere you want). I think that's one of the things that frustrated me about Dark Souls was that I spent a lot of doing going down Path A, when all along I was…
Valid point, and one I can't dispute. I don't feel it's as bad as some imply, but certain things (faster reloading) definitely offer an advantage over certain others.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure after watching this it makes me want to set my copy of Dark Souls on fire knowing I will never, EVER be this good, or this efficient, or... well, anything. This is the hardest damn game I've ever played.
I skipped the DLC... because I'm waiting for it to all be released, so I can swoop in and consume it all at once.
I killed Kaidan, but it was more of a mercy killing. Him always discussing is headaches, pain and suffering from his implants... seemed like an honorable death. If I had to pick one, I'd pick the guy constantly in pain.
I just started playing Halo 4 today. I'm generally in the 2nd or 3rd position consistently on a lot of maps. I'm using the standard gear, and I'm doing damn well. Sure, on a 1 on 1, of equal skill, the small buffs may help... but you're rarely in that situation in Halo. It's (generally) a team game, and your team will…
