On a Vertex 3 SSD, iTunes would constantly hang, be unresponsive and generally feeling "laggy" browsing through MP3s. Slow, cumbersome. There wasn't a quick "play album" feature unless you went through Cover Flow. If you played a single track on your main list it wouldn't stop when it was done - it would go through

I'm not a part of your system! My dad's not a phooone, DUH!

I've never felt Kotaku was biased against Nintendo, but I've got the feeling that sometimes there's bias against portable gaming devices in general (and rightfully so). With handheld games going for $30-40, and mobile games going for $1-5, there's a lot to be issues with the cost of gaming right now.

I think the main issue is that, if Apple wins, they'll use the Samsung case as precedent and go after all the OTHER manufacturers of thin, black, rectagular computining devices. Hence why Samsung has so much heat on them. Apple knows if they can succeed over Samsung, the biggest manufacturer of mobile devices, then

As a Furry, I'd just like to state that while we may have ruined the Internet... we have nothing to do with this one.

Seems like it's an easy avenue for trolling, too. Register a fake account under someone's real name and write a ton of racist comments, bigoted and sexist comments. Sure, you could do that /already/, but people may associate a "real name" and associate the comments to that. Google still has nothing to prove that the

It's a relic from the before time, in the long, long ago.

Reading into it, WP7.8 is basically everything WP8 is that doesn't require new hardware to run. Which isn't too shabby, honestly.

Well, as a WP7 owner, if the boot times for the phone were half as slow as it is now... it'd still be pretty damn fast. Honestly, maybe you should try using a Windows Phone before bashing it (or know even a little about it). The phone is not the desktop OS.

Diablo 3 just doesn't feel like an evolution (let alone a proper sequel). It feels like a forced, uninspired sequel that really just came off money as a money grab. The multiplayer felt dated, the lack of single player was frustrating (why can't I get less than a 400ms ping?!) and in general the pacing is kinda... off.

As a Windows Phone user (Samsung Focus) I don't see a huge issue. Most (not all) of the features will be available in 7.8, but everything 8 requires involves new hardware for the most part. Granted, I think they could have just called 7.8 "Windows Phone 8", but limit the features, but... given the hardware changes, it

Honestly, I felt most of the updates to iOS 6 were pretty much inspired by changes Android or Windows Phone made (Facebook integration, anyone?). The Macbook Pro's screen is impressive, but other than that, it just got all the upgrades everyone else did/has. There's noting "stand out" about the Macbook Pro 15" except

Yuffie enraged me when I first played FF7. There's pressing matters to attend to, a world at stake, lives on the line... and here some kid comes and steals our Materia. Oh, now we're on a big side quest, recover the Materia and confront the thief who complicated the entire mission, caused a major problem. Wait. IDEA!

That, and Nokia's got a 41 megapixel camera going into their next Windows Phones.

Has there been confirmation of this, or are you just assuming?

As a former iPhone and Android user... I have to say Windows Phone is the single best Mobile OS I've used yet.

Hells yes. I have a Samsung Focus, and I want to upgrade to a Lumia 900 so bad.

I admit, I'm the opposite. I'm not inclined to buy games for it for achievements. I like Steam, and have over 200+ games on it, but always felt the way Steam handled achievements felt very tacked on.

You don't have to pay for online matchmaking/networking in GFWL. It's free. Xbox Live Gold is not required for it.
