@Bad_Romance: It depends on the agency your friend words for. Many federal employees actually can actively exercise their first amendment rights, join campaigns, etc. When I worked for a judge, I could not because there would be a potential conflict of interest if, say, something went wrong in an election and the

@junkyardarts: Libel is not a crime, it's something Armstrong could raise in a civil action against Shrivell.

@SallySassyPants: While stalking someone is not protected speech (although those laws are difficult to enforce), you can draw swastikas on photos quite legally.

@sara17: Isn't that the definition of pro-choice: believing that women should have the choice, regardless of whether you personally believe in abortion?

I don't think there's anything wrong with Lively going after the role of the drug-addicted girlfriend. But I found the role fairly two-dimensional. We're not led to understand a whole lot about her relationship with Affleck's character. The audience just seems to understand he doesn't want her (anymore) because

I assumed when she said she'd been with him her whole life, she was referring to the fact that they'd known each other that long. She is his best friend's sister, so he probably has been around most of her life. It seemed to me they hadn't been together as a couple (other than the one-nighter) in some time.

@PhillyLass: I agree that this guy has waged a ridiculous campaign against this kid. And I hope the state comes up with some basis to find he is violating some laws or standards of ethics required for his job. I don't have enormous faith that they will, given stalking laws are pretty weak, but perhaps these

@PhillyLass: Unless he actually breaks the law or breaches some ethical code, the state will probably have a hard time firing him lest they be sued for violating this guy's First Amendment rights. Like it or not, people are allowed to irrationally despise a segment of the population. If it doesn't impact his work

@bluebears: Ave Maria Law School. That explains so much. Is that school even accredited yet?

@raw.cooked: I understand that. But some court probably has to rule you've met the standards before you can reap the benefits of marriage. For example, when you end up in court after a break up or death. No one is going to evaluate whether you've met the standards and deem you legally married until you've gotten to

@QoB: Well then! There you go!

To everyone saying that he might be violating the law because his second and third marriage are common law, I'm not sure it counts if you don't at some point seek recognition of that marriage. For example, if you've satisfied all the requirements of common law marriage, but then you want to separate. The wife, for

@hughman: Thank goodness I have you to look out for my best interests. You tease!

@hughman: All you have to do is provide a link. Then everyone has the option to be spoiled or not. No one can be angry with you about that!

@SarsDoesn'tSave: By keeping Don's secret and throwing himself under the bus, Don certainly owes him. Perhaps we'll see Pete cash that favor in at some point.

@SarsDoesn'tSave: The stability of SCDP, most likely. As we saw at the beginning of the season, Don is the face of the company. If he were outed, it would be an enormous scandal for the whole company.

I know this was a high fashion challenge, but my favorite look was Mondo's RTW. I'd wear the hell out of that dress.

@Ash_Teej: That's a little simplistic, though. By skimming over the reasons these families have organized themselves the way they have - the religious and patriarchal underpinnings of their decisions - TLC has created a whitewashed portrayal of the families. TLC leaves out half the story. It's not an objective lens

@kentuckienne: They sang a song about playing dress-up. This is supposed to be her "dress-up" costume. I'm no Katy Perry fan, but the video itself was kind of cute and kid-appropriate.

@WhiskyTango: There is definitely a line between checking out and ogling. As many commenters have pointed out, everyone "looks" sometimes. I check out other people whom I find interesting, for whatever reason, all the time. Maybe they are attractive; maybe I like their dress; maybe they look like someone I know.
