Replying to my own post as it is too late to edit, but the “Portal: Prelude RTX” does not appear to be published by Nvidia as this article states, and appears to be more of a community made mod/fan project. This is to be contrasted by Portal: RTX, which was published by Nvidia.

Understandable.  I’m running it on a 4080 so I don’t really see much in the way of performance issues, but yeah, I can tell they didn’t really optimize it well.

I want to like this game. I’m a big fan of Vermintide 2, and I enjoy the 40k universe (satirically). It seemed like a slam dunk. And in some ways it is. The moment to moment gameplay is great. The combat is fun and crunchy, and the graphics and atmosphere are pretty top notch.

It’s almost like any community of people that is sufficiently large, will have a large enough percentage of loudmouth assholes to eventually make the rest of the community look bad by association.

I’ll admit my criminal law is a little rusty, but I have trouble believing that the “intent” is irrelevant in a criminal matter. At best, I’d think that the prosecution would have to show that he was willfully blind to the fact that his actions were likely to cause a riot.

They’re both great in their own ways.  They’re different enough from each other that it’s kindof comparing apples and oranges to determine which is better.
