I think Jason strongly suggested that very thing, that BW won’t get to do another game and may get shut down/absorbed if Anthem doesn’t make EA’s investors happy.

So it’s Destiny + a little Monster Hunter, maybe? You’ve got Anthem’s version of Dinkelbot on the radio delivering boring lines in a disinterested way, like he’s reading a script while eating a sandwich and watching a football game. You’ve got the JRPG/Borderlands damage numbers popping all over the place (sure hope…
Mr. “[Y]ou go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want...”
It’s just FO4 with micro online and no mods. So, you can build stuff, but some wanker will nuke it.
Says the guy who loves gambling? I mean, I agree with you, a MTX cosmetics shop is preferable to randomized loot boxes. It’s just funny to me, given what I’ve learned from Splitscreen, that you said it.
He seems like a fun guy.
To be fair to Ichigo, 02 did almost strangle Hiro to death with her bare hands...
Exactly. Every game, all you should have to do is hit ESC or the center-right mini-button on a controller to open the main options screen and there should be an option right there to quit to desktop or console equivalent. 2 clicks is all it should take.
The biggest problem I have with Japanese games these days is simply the UX. I’m primarily a PC games, but this console generation I switched from Microsoft to Sony and got a 3DS and Switch. I’ve gotten to play my first Zelda, Monster Hunter, Yakuza, Persona, Tails, Trails, Ys, Sword Art, and Final Fantasy game, as…
I hear you. From the article, I couldn’t tell if she was playing at anything.
It’s a funny side-effect of games as a service. If a game isn’t “done” at launch, and the game will continue to get patched and updated and patched, and DLCed over time, then Day 1 is probably the worst time to buy and play a game like that.
Yeah, I was having trouble figuring out where to draw the line. For me, I don’t mind if folk buy a wig or a plastic sword. I think the clothes should be hand-made though. I’m not sure yet why that’s what feels right for me, but it may be because the majority of “the look” is established in the costume. I think most of…
I’m not sure it’s fair to call this cosplay if the person didn’t make the costume. Did she have any hand in the design or manufacture of her costume? If not, this is probably better called modeling, not cosplay.
The game’s first live event is way undercooked.
There’s not much character interaction though. It’s not like Dragon Age/Mass Effect. There’s so much crazy going on on-screen that I can’t really tell what anyone’s doing. Most fights are just a blitz.
Hi Ethan. Thanks for this review. How would you contrast this to Ghost Recon: Wildlands? It sounds awfully similar, though the map sounds smaller. It sounds like both share a poor story, but once I let Wildlands off the hook for that, it was actually pretty fun to just look at the different missions almost like old…
On what basis do you suggest we choose which 3 characters to keep in our party?
I’m also thinking this may have something to do with Steam playing middle-man for the controller support, but that’s just a guess.
oh, is it like a double kick-stand? Is it attached to the rear wheel? I can kinda make out something coming off the rear axle.
Hmm, I guess that’s possible. I just assumed the long hair = girl.
