I'm happy that Log Horizon and Akatsuki no Yona are still going, that Aldnoah is back, and maybe even that Dog Days is back.

Wow, she's really pretty!
Dear Bungie,

And again, better discipline on our part leads to better quality too. To whatever degree we can wait until after the reviews come out before buying anything, several good things will happen:
Wait wait wait. You're telling me there was some hook between the game's availability on the store and people's ability to play a game they owned and had already installed? Yeah, that better be a programming bug. Once you buy it, that's it, you should be able to play it whenever you want (assuming the hardware…
Yeah, that's what I thought, too. Not a very good trap if the target doesn't know the bait even exists.
Yes. Since most games are made by devs who are owned or simply sub-contractors for publishers, and since those publishers are publicly traded corporations not run nor owned by their founders, and since all anonymous shareholders care about is increasing the value of their shares, and since the value of the shares is…
I don't think there's money involved, but given what you said, why is it still a YES? Why not a MAYBE?

There was one that turned SC2 into an mmorpg with leveling, quests, all sorts of stuff.
There are way too many buttons :-(
Yes, please oh please help with this. I really want to get into this game, but it's so opaque. I could really use a triage list of buttons and features to care about and the other 80% I can ignore.
It's a game that's both epic and personal at the same time, and this increased focus on the personal side of that - after several big strategic expansions - is welcome and long overdue. I've long told anyone put off by the game's mountain of menus and buttons that you can ignore most of them, since failing at the…
That last, cyclical part reminds me of...
In the olden days (either as they really were or as we like to pretend they were), big games like this also came, by default, with a good, compelling story. So, if/when you assume that whatever content there is will be good content, then yes, the longer the game the better.
When I first saw this, I thought it was a Mass Effect 3 ending reference. With the red, blue, and green explosions, and the sense of lose and disappointment...
But... I like to think of this as revenge: Players are finally taking advantage of a game that tries its hardest to take advantage of them.
Good points. You're right that the terms for a bonus should be fair and clearly defined before the contract is signed. I have no idea if both parties signed in good faith like that, but unless the dev sues or at least states that the terms were hidden, then we have to assume the dev agreed to to the terms.
