This is what I've been looking for to notify my amateur baseball team for rainouts, schedule changes, etc.

COOL!

This is a great way to make friends. People will love you if you do this for them. Does this work in Outlook 2007? If not, is there another way?

@Buran: Yeah, Windows version doesn't support Internet sharing yet (next version will). It says all that right on the download page.

Quizno's large Tuna Melt has 2090 calories (but only 1570 calories from fat), 175 grams of fat. From foodfacts.info. That's gotta be the worst ever. And Quizno's used to not disclose their nutritional info.

I use TendSkin which works well. It burns pretty bad, but that's how you know it's worth it (beauty = pain, or something)

Maybe that hardware change is going on now? I can't log in and the blog page isn't up either (Error establishing a database connection).

What a major step up for last.fm. I wish you could listen to your own radio station though. It wasn't too long ago that you could get around that just by signing out.

@sauronringlord12: The site hosting the song is more likely to get in trouble than you listening to it. They're the ones making it freely available.

Folder Size is a related app that adds folder size to the details view in Windows Explorer. It's one of those features that you think should be in Windows in the first place. It's been covered here before...

"Tell Me Why" by Supermode is my favorite. "Da Funk" by Daft Punk is a good walking/running song. Also, I will second Justice's album. I'm listening to that LCD Soundsystem song now (45:33) and I can see that being a good song to have while running a 10K or 15K (depending on your pace).

Sorry, I forgot to mention that iTunes companion is not freeware. It has a nag screen until you donate something.

For those of us who use Yahoo Widgets, you can also give iTunes companion a try. It has options to grab lyrics automatically, insert album art, track info, and control iTunes. I usually keep iTunes minimized in the sys tray and just use this nice widget.

I'm surprised nobody has written a greasemonkey script to allow downloading, or some other type of plugin. It doesn't seem like it should be that difficult... =/

Why is this controversial? Why is it suddenly "cool" to be overly concerned with privacy? So some lady's cat got it's picture in the paper... who cares?

It's worth noting that you can rotate the pictures 360 degrees either by dragging the mouse, using the left/right buttons on the picture, or using the arrow keys.

Sounds cool... count me in if there are still some left... potrod@ [gmail.com]

I'm in NYC and I find HopStop to be much better. I would probably use PublicRoutes if my trip involved a commuter train (LIRR, PATH, etc) because Hopstop doesn't include those I don't think.

@5h17h34d: Here are instructions on how to install the screensaver without the rest of the pack. They basically just link to a direct download of the .scr file and tell you to put it in your Windows folder. Simple enough... although it does seem a bit dangerous since it could easily be a devastating virus. If a

I think the release of this program and the fact that Lifehacker featured it is bogging down woot's servers. It might just be normal woot-off traffic though...
