Remember back in the day when you played games without a mouse?
Silly Patricia, how can such an intelligent woman be so far off the mark? There's only one possible explanation here:
In my initial write-up of this, I took a more pseudo-psyched approach:
As much as I like the microtransaction system they built into CS:GO, I can't help but feel it's also a way to push content development off to the community so Valve has less work to do. It's ultimately a win-win for Valve, but I feel it's less for the community and more for themselves.
Where did the "PC Master Race" come together and conclude unanimously that Valve could do no wrong? Was there some convention I missed or online petition that went unsigned?
One of the reasons Greenlight was brought in was because Steam kept ignoring or refusing to bring certain games on Steam, and the community kept making complaint threads. Deponia is an example of a game that was initially refused, and Terraria was one that required a lot of community support before Steam let them in.
Valve can do wrong.
independently developed by a team of 300 people and independently published by a fortune 500 company.
It's tricky in a place like New York where you have to cram a tv into whatever corner you have
My TV is centered to the height of my eyes...I don't hold my controller up there.
I agree you see it when you fixate on it. As soon as the game starts I personally don't see it anymore. What I do see is the cool effects of my game room changing colors and that's pretty cool.
In my experience, it can create an annoying glare effect on the screen. Does that never happen for you? What kind of magical TV do you have and how can I get one?
I have never, not once been annoyed by the light-bar. I always have liked it. Why is it so annoying?
