Awesome.
Everything you said is reasonable, in my mind.
I agree with the ban of automatic weapons with a high capacity clip (6 or more rounds) 100%.
I have no problem with an annual screening for gun owners. Fair enough. But your point about civilians not being allowed to have high-powered rifles is problematic. I live in Michigan, and hunting is a multi-million dollar industry here (as well as much of the upper midwest.) I can't get on board with outlawing rifles…
That's one person's (possibly factual) post. I read it. If it is indeed true, it needs to be reported to the proper authorities and written in permanent marker on his record.

Fireman Ed's got nothing on Michigan State Superfan Goofus and his Polkacello (the action starts at 0:47) Just look at that goddamn instrumental masterpiece.
What does that have to do with the price of eggs in Sagola?
No, it shouldn't. Every time there's a tragedy everyone just gets a little raw because of the particular device. One week it's suicide; the next it's cancer; after that someone dies of dysentery, and now no one can even make a shit joke.
I'm sorry, man. I was pulling for your boys.
Eight on the nuts.
