Yeah, me too. But thinking about it is good enough. And getting your kid to earn his keep is even better. ;)

Touch, absolutely. Swing on, sit on, try to tear off...no. :)
Agree. The only exception is if the owner is a self-righteous jerk...in which case, all bets are off. But if you truly love your car, even if it's not up my alley, I respect you.
If you do kick them over, do take a selfie.
more like a VID — very important douche — section.
So true. I am aghast when I see how parents let their children treat other people's cars. We always tell our girls it doesn't matter if it is a Pinto or a Porsche — if it is not yours, you treat it with respect!
Taking a McLaren to a public event and then only allowing "prospective clients" (how do you pick?) to jump the rope and sit in the car is an invitation for others to do so as well. You can't expect a little rope to keep people away from a McLaren, especially if they can see other people getting close right in front of…
I like that you love your car. :)
"Meanwhile the hero in a cayman battling it out with the 335ci, myself in a FiST, and a 996 turbo were swapping FTD all day long until Cayman-man freakin put on a clinic and beat us all by almost a second......." — THIS
Oh, so true. When my husband and I were first dating, people would always congratulate him on my Cayman S or jokingly ask me if he let me drive it. Without fail, he would always say, "it's her car. She lets me drive it." Happens at the track, too: "oh, you drive too? How cute."
I just feel sorry for their cars. Left to choose between the 356 that was driven to the event vs. the 356 that was rolled out of a trailer, I'd rather hang with the owner of the first car.
I have taken a picture in front of the R-18. It was not mine, but it should be. If life were fair.
Shirtless man with longish hair and white pants leaning provocatively on car does not work for me.
#4 should read "parents."
This is "rolling coal" and I believe there are laws against this in several states. Regardless, instant douchebag badge.
Speeding in public places while your buddies watch = compensating.
What!? And all this time I thought I'd bought a Camry! I got ripped off!
Well done, Dad. :)
Ugh, so right El-Verde. My husband once agreed to share his 993 at a "touch-A'Truck" event and I can't tell you how many parents allowed their kids to dangle off of/sit on the wing for a photo. My parents' mantra to my brother and I was, "don't touch the car, especially if it doesn't belong to us." Even if it's a…
"I'm not impressed by your third gear pulls against someone's bone stock GT-R on I-35 because a) it takes zero talent to floor a street car in a straight line in ONE GEAR."
