Are you sure they were joking? That seems like one of those "Haha, but seriously" things.

Yeah. I appreciate all of the comments of, "This is traumatizing!" and I'm sure it is, but it's also entertaining as hell.
I mean... I think part of what's fascinating about these videos are the reactions. Because the kids who freak out and threaten their parents are brats, but then why would a parent want to show the world that they've raised a poorly-behaved kid?
The little girl who said, "It's okay" through tears was the hardest one to watch for me. That was me as a kid, and I have spent a lot of time not speaking up when I should and allowing myself to get the wrong end of the stick too many times.

Much as I love Hiddleston, I will say that I thought the "I know you all" speech was not well done, but I blame the direction rather than his performance.
Sam Rockwell is, obviously, the white lord of the dance. Nice try, Hiddleston — you'll never take his crown!
Dodai, if you haven't already seen it, get your hands on his three-part Henry IV/Henry V series from The Hollow Crown. Scenes include wine showers and bath houses:
He's just lovely.
