This is disgusting, but why would you cut someone from your team for this?

To be fair, Tom was technically correct, which is the best kind of correct.

Does the auro dry consist of anything other than isopropyl alcohol? Because that (like most alcohols) doesn't dissociate to any significant degree - it should be pH neutral. I remember buying a similar product - for swimmers' ear - that was just pricy isopropyl. it works, though.

I guess my point is that I don't give a shit what people say about Embiid on twitter, and neither should he.

Right, which is why it's perfectly fine for people to vent at him on Twitter. Nobody gets hurt, and nobody with half a brain gets their panties in a bunch over shit-talk delivered from behind the safety of a computer screen.

I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps that's why perfect games spoiled by an error (~7 times) are even more rare than true perfect games (~14, I think?)

According to the numbers, his game winner against San Diego on 5/8 was even lower and went farther. Impressive.

Looks like the LA Lakers dominate the "getting blown out" category - five of their first six appearances on the list were in series' that they lost.

It sounds like he was saying "he said 'fuck you'." i.e. relating something that someone else said to him.

That's pretty convincing. From the opposite angle it looked like the ball was only about halfway across.

What are you going to believe, this fancy new technology or your lyin' eyes?

How on earth does it calculate the spin rate?

Can't remember how far I ever got but yeah that game was tough as hell.

"I couldn't do something as an adult, thus anyone who says he could as a kid is a liar."

Now that I'm remembering a little better, as long as you could get (and hold on to) the spread gun with rapid fire you were pretty well set.

I remember being able to beat Contra without using the cheat code. It took some practice, but I don't remember it being all that hard once you'd learned the boss algorithms.

That's my point, actually - it seems like it would be much easier to get your hands on someone's LastPass vault than a 1Password vault.

That's always been my beef with LastPass - the analogy I make is that access to a website is like a door with a padlock on it, and any kind of lockout process is an armed guard who watches you try your key. A few failed tries and he sends you packing. A vault that can be downloaded is basically the equivalent of

I like to think that "I got your p-value right here! [points to crotch]" is a common joke among statisticians.

Well said. He's treating the Triple Crown as though it were the decathlon, when it's actually a collection of individual events, which is what makes it so special and unique.
