If you're comparing pancake to pancake, you're not going to get much of a size/weight advantage from the m4/3 lineup. Where the separation starts to show is when you start getting into the more robust lenses, since the size and weight benefits scale roughly proportionally.

Oh, I totally agree it makes sense now that I'm a grownup, and I've learned that you don't have to live in a mansion to have frozen steaks available. And I even understood the effort that went into cooking a turkey dinner when I read it as a kid, so it made sense that they couldn't do that.
