I’m late (and in the greys) but I’ll try anyway!

Yeah I hated Bush & Cheney for all the obvious reasons, and I thought those eight years were the nadir of this country. But now.... Bush seems almost quaint.

Well, in my opinion Cheney (like Kissinger) has blood on his hands, so he gets to go first. But Hey in my revolution, it’s a really big wall! Plenty o’ room!

I think he drinks the blood of innocents. He certainly spilled enough of it in his time.

Yeah I know this is gonna make me sound like A Old, but: When the revolution finally comes, Cheney* should be the first one against the wall as far as I’m concerned.

You’re probably right! An old post went up recently by Lindy West and I guess I’m missing those old Jez days!

Is Bobby no longer with Jez?!? He’s the only writer I actually like - everyone else has left.

And I seem to recall SJP, when Cattrall gave her firm “No”, insisting the script was thoughtful and funny and emotional and it’s a shame fans won’t be able to see this wonderful film blah blah blah. I hope she was talking about a different draft? Because this script sounds like dreck.

GOD I miss Lindy West, and the old Jezebel.

Ha - yeah he really does.

Anyone can hold an event at the Archives. In fact most public venues in DC can (and do) host events. It’s also not terribly expensive - just can be a bother to line up.

Chau’s family refuses to condemn the remote villagers for protecting their livelihood 60,000-year old indigenous culture, as they have historically done since the 1880s.

well done.

I read somewhere that the show has five cats playing Salem - with excellent names like Edward, Trevor, Shaq, and Boomer.

Please call Animal Control and report the incident. The owner of the attacking dog is 100% liable for damages and you should be compensated. Go back to the store and get contact info for the employees who witnessed/helped. It would be very helpful for the store manager to support you. Get signed statements from them

I’m late to this question - but I strongly recommend the advice of Alison Green, who writes the column/website Ask A Manager. She answers all stripes of work questions, and asking for a raise is a common question. Check her archives and tags. Tons of excellent advice. Good luck!

Wow. Just...wow.

Nah, keep them. It’s a harmless but symbolic jab - it’s not like you swiped his passport.

Two well-known men: Zach and his cousin Nick Galifianakis.

hey you can’t leave us hanging with that!
