Maybe! She has Scottish Folds, which is a breed with droopy ears. I -think- the ‘breed’ started with what is technically a ‘deformity’, as in, cat ears are supposed to be upright. But now these are being bred to bring out that deformity. I don’t know if it affects their health or hearing, but it is a pretty good…

Well, my semi-boyfriend of eight years just broke up with me because he’s decided to marry his other girlfriend. So running off to a weed farm for a week is sounding pretty good right about now to be honest.

Seriously. Same thing(s) are happening with cat breeds. Our family got a beautiful Persian back in the early 80s, but to look at the breed now - they are practically deformed and have all kinds of health issues (like breathing problems). It’s just cruel. People suck.
