There were also some news I read (from multiple places and American media) that the flight was told by a Ukrainian tower to dip down to 33,000 feet vs it's original 35,000. not to mention the fact that MH17 was the ONLY plane…

They are soviet missiles, and Ukraine had plenty of machinery and weapons from Soviet times. The storage was robbed at the start of the revolution. It could have been them, or the Russian supplied rebels. All I'm saying is that it could be either side and automatically blaming the Russians with zero evidence is unfair.

This. All day every day. Really, any Saab though. A plain jane looking 9-3(1st and 2nd gen) can be made VERY quick with some cheap parts, tunes etc.
