video games are an art form and as an art form, they are subject to criticism. Telling Anita to shut up is really no different from telling game developers to make games a certain way.
Developers can make games however the fuck they want whether or not Anita says anything about them. The idea that people should not voice their opinion on products or art or culture is crazy. Why does, say, Stephen Totilo get to talk about the game but Anita does not?
That’s not what she’s doing any more than like Pauline Kael or Roger Ebert were telling film makers how to make movies.
As I recall this was made by the guy who used to do all the DarthMods for the Total War series and he got screwed over by CA as well. Guy can’t catch a break it seems.
