Fair points, though I don't share your optimism about the decline of fracking. We don't even have the political will to significantly reduce our dependence on coal. I don't see fracking going away without some major revelation about its consequences, or some major disaster, and energy companies are doing everything

I didn't really make an argument, but I think the statement that it" doesn't really matter if fracking is harmless or not" warrants an explanation. Please explain.

So... you think we make environmental regulations for fun? That the EPA is in the pocket of 'big science'?

I put climate change deniers and deniers of the existence of structural racism in the US in the same boat: those who ignore an overwhelming body of evidence because it was cold yesterday and they have a black friend.

There were a couple shots in which I noticed some symbolism:

There is no theory? It's been discussed plenty of times on /r/asoiaf, by fans, which means it's a fan theory. Are you disputing that people talk about it on the internet? Or are you just trying to say you disagree with the theory? In any case, several characters remark at different times that the smell was stronger

POSSIBLE S5 SPOILER

I'm not sure you've read anything I've written thus far, but I was pointing out that there is a wealth of information discussing gender in other forms of entertainment - movies, music, even comics. It is simply untrue that gaming is singled out.

To start, I would point out that gender equality in film is not an unusual topic in film studies or women's studies programs, which you can find at many state universities, which are partially (or wholly, depending on the country) funded by taxes.

It's not singled out, that was my point.

It's that simple eh? I had this crazy idea that people were upset about depictions of women in mainstream games for other reasons.

Did no one else critique and discuss films in middle school, high school, college? Analyzing gender roles is like literacy 101, and the games industry has grossed more annually than Hollywood for a few years now. Gaming has grown up. It's part of the culture. People are going to deconstruct it and write about it for

When are we gonna get a reddit-style downvote button, so all the jackholes that feel inclined to post that this topic isn't worth reporting / discussing can be demoted by the rest of the community?

Meanwhile in the rest of the country, fracking is moving ahead with little regard for the consequences of contaminating the water supply.

I recall some pretty cool features with X-Wing Alliance. There were space stations / objects you could fly through, not just around. There was a mod where you could pilot capital ships, multiplayer was ruthless, some people were masters at picking you off with the quad lasers of a TIE Interceptor from a couple km

For show fans it could also seem like a deus ex machine as well, since the show didn't touch on it when the book did, ~5000 pages ago.

Welp, there's my quota for misogynistic and downright idiotic comments for the day. Thanks Kotaku community!

Great closing line there! I wholeheartedly agree.
