Exactly! The stakes are a lot higher with $50/$60 games than they were with music downloads. Furthermore, a big reason MP3 downloads caught on so quickly was that you could finally buy the one song off an album that you wanted, something the major labels made very difficult for years.

Slow news day

If the majority of the NES and SNES libraries were available for download on the 3DS, Nintendo could have all my money. ALL OF IT!!

Agreed, but damn that game was hard. I have fought the final boss a half-dozen times but always die with a ship engulfed in flames and my beloved crew suffocating in the unforgiving vacuum of space. And that's why you shouldn't name your crew. You get attached.

Whoops, I was. But I'd settle for some of my NES games that don't work anymore. Maniac Mansion, perhaps?

When will we get some SNES in the eShop? :(

Ah, that's unfortunate. Thanks for the info.

I think any time you identify as a member of some type of community which carries on its own internal dialogue and self-reflection, as well as struggles with its perception by the rest of society, there is an opportunity to discuss and work toward collective betterment. The world is full of sexism and misogyny, but as

Well, I feel sufficiently creeped out. Are 'booth babes' still present at E3? I feel like banning that practice would be a good place to start.

The Walmart of anything has a pretty negative connotation for most people. Others commented that Valve doesn't have any of the horrid business practices which people find objectionable, but they 'missed your point' that it's just about revenue model. But it's obviously not their revenue model that makes Walmart

I picked one up with Fire Emblem yesterday on the way home from work. The 3DS XL is $175 at Best Buy right now. Setup took awhile and then I just ended up playing the original Super Mario. Having relied on iOS for mobile gaming for a few years, it's really nice to have a control pad and real buttons again.

There's a distinction to be made between *TERRORISM* and asymmetrical warfare. If the game is supposed to take place in the near future of this reality and not an alternate reality like Red Alert, I think it's safe to assume that a 'liberation front' would largely be composed of Middle Eastern / North African forces,

So much for being the only site on the internet that doesn't discuss Amanda Bynes' twitter account...

Did Microsoft say that? And for users who play completely offline, Microsoft has no data on their usage - which is probably a major reason they want to keep the X1 connected - collecting user data.

Peter Griffin (low-hanging fruit)

*slow clap*

You're not, but it also bodes poorly for the prospect of a new, great dogfighting or strategy game, so I for one have mixed feelings. I wonder if there is bidding going on behind the scenes for other LucasArts properties.

poor intern...

When I was a kid my friends and I made up a similar game with the Star Wars and Star Trek Micro Machines that came out in the 90s. They were the perfect size for a tabletop game, and all you needed was dice, tape measure, and well... rules. But they looked exactly like these pics, only less detailed. Even came with

Completely agree, thank you for stating it so eloquently.
