Did you ever play the addons? The vanilla release (as in, no addons) was dull for me, it felt like a stripped down, slow Civ. But Gods and Kings and Brave New World made Civ V fun for me.

That's crazy sauce, I've been on 200+ flights and have NEVER had the luck/horror of witnessing a human die.

@ Dino, I am an Eagles fan, and last year, my Week 6 and on was your Week 17, I feel your pain.

Bro, come on bro. White bros just gotta bro off some steam sometimes with a good old bro down. Bro, its like totally gnar-racist to be blowin up these bros spots, bro. Just let these bros fight it out, hug it out, and have a straight up brodown, bro.

Dude....

No, not really. I don't hate it, but I realized after I graduated that I went into the field because at 18 my guidance counselor told me it was something I wouldn't be able to do. Basically, I took the challenge. I don't hate it, I just don't love it. But, its fine money, not great, not by any means. But, it is

I would take Avant at WR2 any day, guy might not have the jets that some of the top WRs in the league have, but he has as good of hands as anyone else in the league.

Well, in my case, because the total cost of college was close to $200K. So, you know, don't want it all to be a waste.

Yeah, plus, if you can strike early enough to gain a city advantage (I don't believe in small empires) and later a production advantage, you just spam them with siege weapons.

I don't know, I consider bitching a lot more whiny than what I said, but again, to each his own.

I think the comment that the technology that is forced on the developers has made them lose their way is incredibly salient. Ever since FFX, it has felt like the gameplay has taken a backseat to the 'HOLY FUCKING SHIT LOOK AT THIS CGI GUYS LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!!!'

I am explaining to you how the game series changed, and why I don't like it anymore, I'd hardly call that bitching.

Yeah... Engaging and Emotional, not what I was looking for in GTA.

During Detroit sporting events the city's population doubles.

No Flyers?? Come on, that was a perfect chance to either use a fighting type, or a Snorlax with puke running down the side of its face.

Is this game compatible with that dick controller? I need to know... for... science...

It was never so linear before GTA IV. I played Every GTA through GTA IV, and they were all much less linear than that game. GTA IV signaled an end to the original focus of the games (mayhem) and a much greater emphasis on poorly voiced story and.... bowling.

GTA Vice City brought a lot of new vehicles, the ability to own real estate all over the city and a lot more random side activities. San Andreas added in the Role Playing abilities to customize your character and your pads.

Dude, Earthbound though? Mass Effect, sure, theres a lot of Pew Pew Pew and maybe that's too repetitive, but Earthbound? You owe it to yourself man.

I'd hold the point that BECAUSE he writes for the greater Gawker network that he is less likely to make any sense.
