No, it isn't. I was being generous. But the main character is black, and it's a representation that is available and viewed by a large group of people.

I'd end up with a dozen one-size-fit-everyone-but-please-not-today gloves lying around.

I think it went from the WB to UPN to the CW. But it did do a dramatic change. They used to have The Wayans Brothers, The Jamie Foxx Show, The Steve Harvey Show, Moesha, Girlfriends.... Then they had The OC and Gilmore Girls. I don't know what's on there now other than Arrow and The Flash. Those shows have black

Seriously. It's great there are more dramas featuring diverse casts but, a woman having an affair with the president, a woman that defends murderers and has affairs, the mess that is everyone on Empire... We have Orange is the New Black, which features plenty of black and Latino actors but they're all prisoners.

Yeah that's true, but without the comedies we're basically in the same place.

Those gloves are always way too big for my hand and seriously impede my ability to curl my hair.

The Jamie Foxx Show and The Steve Harvey Show were a couple of my favorites. Those definitely aren't on DVD.

It’s on HBOGo so I've seen it twice in the past three weeks.

I think you can just give it to the front desk and ask they pass it along. My place had little envelopes at the desk for this purpose.

Maybe Columbus is special? I just looked at a Yelp review for the salon there and people did mention you're not allowed to tip the students but can "tip for charity" if you want to. But the reviews were from years ago, and I haven't gone since 2006 so maybe it's changed since then.

Makes sense. Golf is the most boring sport you can play, so anything that would make it marginally more interesting would be ruining it in a sense.

I think Fresh Prince is the only one. Maybe Martin? But everybody watched Family Matters, and I haven't seen that anywhere.

Yes! What happened to them? Where are the shows like that? We have Blackish now, and Tyler Perry attempted but those shows were horrible. But those 90's tv shows I feel like we're universal, some of them at least. That even the whitest people would watch them. I mean, who doesn't know the theme to Fresh Prince?

It doesn't seem like tv has progressed much, if at all, since then in terms of diversity. We have shows like Scandal and Empire which is great, but before that the last "black" show I can think of that anybody watched was Girlfriends. And of course all the reality shows on VH1, that we would be much better off had

Well I only say that because when I got my hair done at the Aveda Institute by my university they wouldn't let me tip. It was against the rules for some reason. Maybe that's just Aveda though.

This could either be fantastic or terrible, depending on Miguel's acting skills.

Yeah, tipping on the actual hair would be like purchasing shampoo or something at the salon and giving the stylist 20% of the price of the shampoo.

Why don’t I remember any of this happening? That was glorious.

Maybe it's different according to salon? I used to not, because I just didn't think to. And then one day I had a revelation that I probably should and now I do it because better to tip when not needed than to not tip when it is needed.
