Clearly, it's time to ditch the closed PCV system on any new DI car I'll ever buy and run it to a catch can...

As I understand it, the control arm bushings (at least in '97, the year my A4 was) had some kind of liquid in them, presumably to absorb vibration. That liquid would leak out, and thus began the squeaking.

If Nissan goes through the trouble to assemble the suspension on a pre-loaded jig, there's no way a wrecked GT-R will ever be as good as it should be.

AND, We don't allow radar in motion as well!

Also, PA doesn't accept tickets from out of state, so as long as you keep it out of the realm of misdemeanor, you're cool. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees that.. I love it.

Here's an idea for the event organizers.. Don't run a track that isn't safe to run! Only by voting with your wallet will tracks update their facilities.

the monster tach made me sad.

while that muffler isn't correct, the location is.

I think that's the engineer's way of saying "You-a shoulda be shifting da transmission youself, dis is no Fiat, dis a Lamborghini!" and has programmed in some sillyness like this to punish lazy owners. Unfortunately, it can bite people in the ass who are trying to be a little "gentle" on someone else's car, as it

That sucks that the laws up there consider a track day as a "race or speed test", when it's really neither.

Shouldn't be shifting *in* a turn anyway! (Not your story, the track video)

"I do think that it tacitly suggests that cigarettes are OK, and this is something that respectable humans should not do."

I recorded a lap we did in 2008 with a hand held camera,no issues. It was inside the car though.

Spark plugs pulling from the heads, anyone? :)

... And ya have to wonder for how much longer. The law was created because air-cooled motorcycles used to overheat sitting in traffic.
These days, most bikes are water cooled, and even the air cooled ones have better oil cooling systems, and of course, motor oil has come a LONG way.
Though during my time in Germany,

Other than the paddles controlling them, the fact they have a case, an input, and an output, they really couldn't be more different.

An enclosed car trailer with a car gets right to 7k easily, or a well-built open trailer with a 4wd on it, but I do agree that 90% of truck owners don't need it, but it's nice to have when it's called upon. 'Murica.

But when you need to tow a 7,000 car trailer, SUV or truck makes no difference, and for that same capability, the SUV is typically more expensive. (Price a Tahoe/Suburban over a similarly equipped Silverado)

Better launch? This isn't a damn drag racing car. It's a ROAD racing car. (Yes, I'm fully aware that a ton of Corvettes end up on the drag strip, and it's a shame. Point is, other than the added HP, every other change to the Z06 is ALL about road racing.)
