A-men.

I have to wonder if years of having his brain pulled in every direction by G-forces made him more susceptible to this injury?

Don't WRC cars have them hard-mounted (i.e. they don't move with the wheel?) My take is, if you have a ridiculously small lock-to-lock (like 1.5 turns or less), then on the wheel is ok. For a road car, on the column is better. You always know that the paddle on the right is upshift. Just my $0.02.

Exactly! Can't believe all the people swearing it's a supercharger..

EXACTLY!!!

Kinda defeats the purpose of a Superleggera to be carrying around all that additional weight, no?

If, for example, the seal in the turbo goes, you can shut the fancy electronic injectors off all you want.. all the fuel it needs is coming in with the air. The ONLY way to stop if is mechanically, or by cutting off the air source.

...and you never exceed the speed limit?

1: These assclowns aren't motorcyclists... They're thugs. They just happen to be on motorcycles.

Apparently I'm the only one to hear a bang, clank clank clank at :17? That's not the sound of brakes failing, that's the sound of something like the driveshaft coming off.

A real car guy doesn't let some minimum-wage person (who doesn't give a damn if they pour a drop, or a half-gallon of gas down the side of your paint) pump gas for them anyway.

Don't be mad because you live in a Communist state and we're just passing through.

Lest we forget the ORIGINAL sellout... Porsche.

"the rear of the Yukon XL/Suburban looks a little long and ungainly aft of the rear axle...it might have looked better if it were 3-4 inches shorter. "

annnnd, welcome to the NC DOT.

Let me guess.. the one that's worn completely down is the inside pad? That wear shows to me that the caliper slider pins didn't have enough lubrication and were sticking, not allowing the caliper to press evenly on both pads.

When I was in the Army in the mid 90's, we had a couple of these to move helicopters around. One had a Ford straight-6 and what seemed like a powerglide.. topped out at about 15 due to extremely steep gearing, which also helped it wheelie like nothing else when you'd drop it from reverse into drive..

Oh no... Not the "Miller genuine performance" caliper covers?!? That c5 needs to be put out of its misery.
