Also, the MILK. It's probably less jacked with hormones and not so processed or something but the milk in Iceland is delicious. I had sooooo many hot chocolates there. Wonderful country. Will definitely return (must explore the West Fjords).

I've been to Iceland twice, and had some beautiful meals there. With a good amount of veggies too! Though of course the selection is not as broad as North America.

I found some lamb dishes better than others, but the quality of the lamb is excellent overall, as you would expect. I tried the fermented shark - just tasted like pickled fish, not horrible but not my thing. The only whale I tried was at the Sea Baron. It was pretty tough but perhaps a more skilled cook could do…
