As a former low level admin in a very small company, I used to have to filter out resumes and email applications all of the time. You’d be horrified at how many people lack basic sentence structure skills, or missed obvious details like changing the name of the company they were addressing their cover letter to.

A solid grasp of emotional intelligence also makes you rather adept at manipulating others, too, if that’s useful to you.

As one of four speed-skating fans in America, I will genuinely miss Universal Sports. Back to weird Dutch streaming sites for me.

Who is unaware of cancer? Who doesn’t know it’s an illness that can be fatal?

Hard to feel any sympathy for Cameron Heyward (and not just because he’s a Steeler). Not that I have any love for the NFL front office, but rules are rules. The league clearly states what its uniform policy is and they’re enforcing it. It’s like getting a ticket for going just a couple miles an hour over the speed

That sounds all sweet, and I applaud your noble intentions going after the big, bad NFL and it’s emperor, but the fact is that if you allow this then where do you draw the line? Do you then have to allow Richard Sherman to wear a #BlackLivesMatter sticker during black history month? What about Matt Hasselbeck wearing

If you’re sentient enough to watch an NFL game, you are probably already aware of the existence of cancer, and in all probability believe cancer to be bad. All of this “raising awareness” is sanctimonious bullshit.

A lot of players have an issue they would like to bring attention to. If the NFL allow players to make statements like this they then have to pass judgement if the statement is appropriate. For Heyward, it’s his father and brain cancer — someone else my have issues more controversial. It’s best to say “no personal

I’m having a hard time understanding how a sportsfan from NY could not be expecting a beatdown when talking trash in front of Philly sports fans. I’m not even from the east coast and I know the reputation of Philly sports fans.

This is like the video of the rat eating the pigeon. Who are we to judge? Just let nature work itself out in all its violent glory . . .

He didn’t sucker punch him. He walked up to him slowly, talking shit, fists up, bobbing and weaving. If you don’t know what’s coming next, you shouldn’t talk shit or go to football games. Or leave the house.

I thought a sucker punch is one you don’t see coming? In other words, a dirty punch you can’t defend against. The Giants fan saw the punch coming all the way from the time the arm was cocked.

*fumble

Nonsense. The NBA charge/block calls are clearly defined by which player is more famous.

Catch. Gains possession outside the end zone, breaks the plane, the play is over well before the ball is stripped out.

He's got possession in the End Zone. TD. Don't blame the NFL just because you don't understand the rules, bro.

This is a touchdown because Tate gets both feet down, has the ball in possession, and is in the process of taking a third step (“football move”) when the ball is knocked out. If it were in the field of play it would be a fumble; since it’s in the end zone the play ends as a touchdown.

Oh please, both feet were down, as soon as the right made contact with the endzone it was a TD. The ball came out after.

According to Blandino, Tate:

Dude, stop trying to defend yourself and just face the fact that you have made an extremely stupid post
