So with this episode, is Absalom Daak officially part of TV canon? (his image was shown briefly in the wanted photos)

It was pretty intense. I was out with a friend that night and the drive home was surreal. There were no lights on many streets, which made it difficult to tell which streets were blocked by giant trees that fell onto the road.

There is no defense for a ban on rainwater collection. Nobody is going to collect enough to have that kind of ecological effect.

This is what you get when you let the anti vaccination and flat earth crowd get a fan base.

Yes, tornadoes in Bayside/Flushing, tornado in Park Slope, Macroburst in Forest Hills.

That's nuts. Vote the folks who are responsible out of office.

My area got hit by a tornado in 2010. Pretty unusual for NYC... at least it was at the time. We did pretty well. I wish Breezy Point had done as well.

He will be very present even if he's not directing 'Star Trek,' his voice and his stamp will be all over it.

What about used diapers? Something good has got to come from all that... stuff

Specialman reigns supreme

The show had some legitimately great episodes. I won't take that away from it. It was entertaining and the characters, while not all fantastic, still were engaging. The problem was that the show never fully embraced its premise. I have no problem with the crew finding a way to communicate with Earth or anything of the

That's part of why I love them. They go way too far and then keep going.

I'm not saying there is no objectification of men. I'm saying it doesn't reach the levels of ridiculousness that it does with women. I haven't seen many male characters like this - and yes, I know this is a game character:

They may take your sandwich but they can never take your freedom.

Have a look at the pic next to item 5 in the main post and you'll see what I mean.

Mr. President, you're missing the point. Female characters are sexualized to a ridiculous point, far beyond what is seen with male characters. It's not just comics, it's games, movies, TV, etc.

That may be problematic if you decide to work in a deli.
