Your 3 replies to a single post are all missing the point. Yes, the hardware AS RELEASED may have problems, but Nintendo, while designing the system, should have made the ability to play SNES and GBA eShop titles a requirement.

You are saying that I should ignore the fact that there are things I don't like and pay money to play things I don't like because I should open my mind. First, the fact that some seriously important games have 'Ambassador' status is complete bullshit. Second, these limitations, if they exist, should have been worked out pre-release.

The problem is those old games are extremely old. I'm ok with going back to the 16 bit era, but 8 bit... not so much.

I can't imagine how getting GBA support would be such a problem. GBA and SNES games in the eShop should have been a priority consideration before the 3DS was released. Come on, we can get Genesis games in 3D but not SNES? How does this make sense?
