Come on, be reasonable. This is the Virtual Console, not the Wii itself. It seems reasonable to believe Nintendo could easily make the VC be compatible from the Wii to the Wii U in terms of support for SNES games, with the one exception of support for an additional controller type, which could be handled in the Wii…

I guess I'm surprised that there were changes to the Virtual Console at all. Does the Wii U have VC support for game systems that the Wii VC didn't have?

I thought that since the VC was essentially a console for older pre-Wii systems that VC games would be Wii and Wii U compatible since there really seems to be no reason they shouldn't be.
