The Call of Duty games are not a good example as they have built in obsolescence. They're made for the multiplayer experience, and that's a moving target. Not everyone is into that.

Right, so you can spend a ton on a console that is not guaranteed to work and may smell like a smoke shop.

Perhaps instead of yelling you could back up your claims about Anonymous and Wikileaks. Are you saying that the US Government released information via Anonymous and Wikileaks with the intent that this information is on the up & up, or are you acknowledging that something shady is going on, and that these incidents

Consider drug companies. Like any business, their goal is profit. It is more profitable to sell palliatives than cures. Its not inconceivable that there is an effort to suppress viable cures for some diseases so that these companies could profit from drugs that only address the symptoms.

That's true. Its not irrational to believe that its possible that if we're being lied to about one thing that the same parties might be lying about other things as well.

I didn't say there wasn't good reason for secrets. Do you think that's all that's being kept from us? Don't you think there's a lot more than that being held back? Ass covering and more?

Not all conspiracy theories are like that. Some certainly are. Others are simply just simple and depressing.

Why do rational people buy into conspiracy theories? Because we know that information is being held back from us. Because Anonymous and WikiLeaks have provided insights into things that we would never have been allowed to see otherwise. Basically because we know we're being kept in the dark, intentionally.

And what will you do when your older consoles stop working?

It would have been nice for the list above to provide, or at least point to a guide on how to create a VM.

Not if a later incarnation realized what was happening and intentionally wiped those memories.

((sigh)) I was REALLY hoping that MS would make the XBox One an attractive option, but this is just awful. Look for an announcement that EA will be "supporting" indie game makers soon.

If MS only sees a US market that's probably because the rest of the world didn't buy as many XBoxes or XBox 360s as they did Playstation 2s & 3s. Japan didn't exactly go out of their way to get people to get an XBox.

Forgive the question, but is there a reason that DC wouldn't have Superwoman instead of Supergirl? It just seems... wrong. I dunno. Maybe I'm over thinking it.

Dunno. The Cartmel plan didn't happen. Or maybe it did in books. I dunno.

No disagreement on that point. I'm not a fan of either system at this point. Shit, this crap might make me consider PC gaming.

The Cartmel Masterplan never happened, at least not in this timeline. Maybe in the Darkest timeline they're airing it along with the 3rd season of The Cape.

It has something as in most likely making us pay again for our own library, and a VERY limited selection at that. We'll be lucky to get the best of the best, but what about other titles? I would LOVE to be able to play Bombastic on my PS3. Hell, I would even buy it again as a PSN download if I thought that it

What if the Doctor IS Omega and there's just some wack ass paradox keeping Omega in the antimatter universe while the Doctor runs around?

MIND BLOWN.
