I like this except for the views of the pilots under their masks. Unnecessary. But otherwise this was totally badass, yep.

I'll never forget your face!

How, pray tell, are the going to "dock planes" to it?

Juptier didn't "save" us. It's a big solar system, and Jupiter is tiny in comparison. We have no proof this object was on ANY SORT of trajectory that would have come anywhere near us.

Its this sort of thing I want to wave in the face of people who say "in the good old days people were completely 'moral'".

Yes, and it may rain tomorrow, or it won't.

I look forward to your post after episode 2. The haters always tend to continue posting their hate, yet watch all the same.

That was okay. Not as bad as I expected.

If people live forever they'll stop having as many children. Less kids means less of a teen and young adult population to keep happy with reboots (ticket sales). Older folks are more nostalgic for the "original".

Helpless? Helpless?

" The result was a Jesus that looked possibly like a monkey, possibly like a lion"

I like that technically the first words said by humans in contact with the moon was Buzz Aldrin saying "Contact Light" when the wire probe hanging off the landing pad lit up.

All it would prove is that one of us has perfected mass mind control.

He could not be a more perfect choice for the first man to step on the moon. He went up, did his job, came back and did his best to stay out of the limelight while still acknowledging the magnitude of what he did. Exactly the sort of person who SHOULD have been able to do the most celebrated first in human history.

I was terrified of roller coasters until I was 18. Refused to go near them. Even had them pop up in nightmares.

Then most of them won't have a problem the fact that these self-aware animals are good eatin'. I mean, many of these animals obviously don't have a problem with eating other animals in many different ways.

They'll be gettin' a little Wookie nookie!

PARTY ROCK IS ON MARS TONIGHT!

Falling Skies is okay, but I think they are suffering from the 10-episode format. If they had the budget of a 20-episode series they could cram into 10 episodes, then the 10 episode format would work - but we're seeing too many bottle episodes too obviously saving up money for upcoming special effects episodes.

How do kids react to this?
