It's being remote controlled - hardly a robot.

I think you're on to something... or on something. One of the two. :)

Same way here. Spent my high school years reading everything I could on UFO's — but they're still referencing the same stories from the 60's and 70's, still interviewing people in darkened rooms with pixelated faces and warped voices, and despite the HUGE advances in photographic and video technology we're still

I completely agree. I found the idea interesting, but have always found physicists saying the amount of matter in the universe doesn't add up a little suspect due to the fact that at this moment in history we can only see so far, only know so much, and don't know what sort of effect things outside our frame of

I don't really like tattoos myself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with other people getting them, but I don't care to get one and really don't like seeing them. I know I'm in the distinct minority with that.

I'd like to know how they managed to launch a Saturn V without everyone knowing.

As I said ""Good" is based on enjoyability, "greatness" on versatility - at least IMHO." To Kill a Mockingbird is absolutely "good", though people still argue over if Truman Capote had a hand in it.

Back when I was heavily religious, I often said that I thought water was decent proof for the existence of a God. My religious side has cooled, but the odd properties of water still sometimes seems like the one thing a creator tweaked to make this happen.

My weird weather story is when I was 15 years old and went down to Florida in 1989 for my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. They had a record breaking cold snap and the temperature got down to 32 degrees.

@Ray Massie: Russia always was a little behind.

@Dr Emilio Lizardo: And that you for saving me from being the only one to catch the Pon Farr reference. :)

Great list! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to TV Tropes - bye!

Nice pics - I'd like to see a closeup of the characters, though.

I think I feel Pon Farr coming on....

4 made me chuckle.

The way I heard the Viagra story, some of the testers didn't want to return their unused pills after the study and the reason came up during a survey of why.
