If you had told the ten year old version of myself that I would one day live in the desert and wear wool socks in the summer, I would have told you that you were nuts.

Spin the wax! Ahhhhh yeaaahhhhhhhh!

It does not call into question the ethics of pulling the plug at that time because that decision was based on the best available data.

Shocking. A school using its powers to silence criticism.

No, he's wrong. The "500 for $95 on Amazon" will not work for this application.

Yes, those are all on Amazon and cost $95 for 500, aren't they?

Wow, what a non-specific statement. Since this article is about NFC in Android phones, that's a very specific specification. You can toss out everything that doesn't run at 13.56MHz.

Sooo proud...of son who wrote commandments!

I have one on my Blueant speakerphone, a couple on my desk at work (for WorkMode and a MeetingMode toggle). It's much more convenient to just hold it near a sticker instead of doing the "walking down the hall and muting the phone" thing.

You're welcome.

Also, I just saw on Giz that Samsung is going to be selling NFC tags along side the GS III. I think that will raise awareness of it quite a bit, too.

[play.google.com]..... or search for NFC Task Launcher in the Google Play Store if that link doesn't work. I bought my tags through www.tagsfordroid.com because you get 20 tags and a key fob for $26 shipped.

I am hoping to do that via my HomeSeer setup with a Z-Wave door lock.

NFC Task Launcher if you want to control your phone actions or TagWriter to do more "board level" stuff.

www.tagsfordroid.com is cheaper and you get a key fob, too.

Are they the flavor that works with Android, though?

I use NFC tags and NFC Task Launcher to instantly change configurations on my phone.
