Exact reason why I sold my old Baja, broken brake line sent me through a red light intersection, yee haw! I took a hard right, onto and around the sidewalk while missing all cars.
I used to have a fear of rebuilding transmissions, then I rebuilt my Torqueflite 727 twice because my truck had the the wrong dip stick. I learned that they aren’t that bad and that when you add too much fluid you blow your transmission seals.

“Astronomical”- It’s okay Andrew, we know you aren’t trying to promote some kind of inflated psuedoscientific click bait article (Gizmodo).
Might as well be 46, being that Obese in your 20s will kill you while you are still in your 50s.
I’m sure a lot will cancel after two years, three years, and then four years of still waiting for their car.
IF YOU GO TO RUTH’S CHRIS, YOUR STEAK BETTER BE SUPERIOR TO A STEAK FROM TEXAS ROADHOUSE. = IF YOU ARE SPENDING $200K FOR A FERRARI, IT BETTER BE EXCEPTIONAL COMPARED TO A $100K CORVETTE!

But if you‘re going to Ruths Chris you definitely want your steak better than the last steak you had from Texas Roadhouse.
The C7 has launch control with the 7 speed manual, I assume the auto has that option as well.
I tend to think of Corvettes as a metric for measuring how fast a sports car truly is. If it is faster than a Corvette then it deserves respect, if it is not then you have to question the amount of money spent for just a name and perhaps some exclusivity.
BMW builds cars only for people who only want to own or most likely lease their BMW for two to three years. The kind of people who will bring the car in every 6-10 months for their free oil change. There is no effort to build a reliable car for someone who will own the car for 5-15 years. The damn things are fashion…
